Fashion Trends
More Edge. More Sophistication.
These are the watchwords subsuming all current fashion trends under a single denominator. More than ever before, fashion is about the conscious assembling of individual items. Sublimely artless, yet never lacking discernment. Plus, of course, the right shoe to complete the outft. Women are looking for fashion with a femininely sportive feel to it. Right for this are rugged lace-ups and beat-up biker boots, casual moccasins and soft boots.
The keynote shoe: college pumps in a prim reading of the style that spoofs its more severe image. Materials need to be superior and natural: sumptuous calf’s leather, soft-as-butter suede, spazzolato.

Annette Görtz
Exciting Surfaces and Unusual Details
In the new shoe collection from the Annette Görtz designer label, exciting surfaces meet unusual details. Rugged cowhide boots with high shafts and funnel heels have braided inserts in the calf area. The leather decorated with small nails in the heel area is especially clever.

Scholl Studio
Lots of Style
“Gymnastics while you walk” was the motto already propagated at the start of the 1900s by Dr. William Scholl for a holistic sense of physical well-being. Since then the Scholl brand has been synonymous with comfortable shoes and foot care. And thanks to the trendy high-fashion line Scholl Studio this comfort now also comes with lots of style for discerning men and women who attach great importance to style and quality. Design inspirations for Studio Line include influences from Milan designer Diego Dolcini who, alongside his luxury signature line (Scholl by Diego Dolcini), also determines the colours and materials of all the Scholl collections.

Restaurant Tips:
News from Düsseldorf
Recently opened - 'Christen' 'Christen' at Haus Litzbrück in Angermund. For the 'tour de menu' the longstanding chef of the moated castle "Haus zum Haus" will serve a rose menu at this Düsseldorf “institution” – we are eager to see!
For some months the spectacular locations at the harbour have also included a restaurant now: 'Gehry's'. Served (primarily) here is American prime beef, which can be ordered in various sizes.
Fancy little veal cheeks, an excellent wine and a great cheese board afterwards? During GDS and the 'tour de menu' you can have all that at truly fair prices at 'D'Vine' on Lorettostraße. Table reservations are recommended!
